I AM PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THE AUGUST WINNERS OF THE CAT AND DOG OF THE MONTH CONTEST AND WISH TO SHARE THEM WITH YOU!

HERE IS 'GIN"!

Congratulations to our Cat of the Month, Gin, who owner Debbi Higginbotham gave us quite the story behind Gin. She had wandered into Debbi's son's apartment at college and he was the only one who took care of her. But the other boys wouldn't leave the door closed, so she kept getting out and he brought her home to Debbi. Now he's going to have a hard time getting her back! The boys originally named her José Cuervos (college kids!) but then they discovered she was a girl, so they changed it to Gin. She is lively, inquisitive, vocal...sometimes a real nut case! Sometimes, when you walk across the living room, Gin comes flying out of hiding with all four legs spread wide, ready to grab you. They call it the Flying X of Death. Soon a special surprise winner's package will be on it's way.

HERE IS "KORI"!

Congratulations to our Dog of the Month, Kori, whose owner is Linda Gates. Kori is seen here with Joarjis, Linda's daughter. Kori is two years old and weighs 6 pounds. She is a miniature, long-haired dapple Daschund. Kori shares the home with three cats, and they all play together and get along really well. Kori is our winner for Dog of The Month and our Prize Package will soon be on it's way to your mailbox!
