Congratulations To Our Pets Of The Month!
Every month I have the privelege of picking a cat or dog of the month. And believe me it's not easy to pick since they are all so adorable! When I was a little girl I owned a few cats and loved them to pieces until the dreadful age of 17 when I developed allergies and could no longer be around cats. So It truly makes me happy when I can show the world one of God's creatures. So here are the winners. I hope you enjoy their pictures as much as I do!
Our Cats of The Month are Willie and Wynona whose owner is Francie of The Scented Cottage. These two adorable felines were "dumped" kitties that were rescued and adopted by Francine. They are also polydactyls or "Hemingway" kitties so called because of the extra toes on their paws. We give them both eight paws up for landing on their feet. Soon a special surprise winner's package will be on it's way for these two cuties! And please take a little trip to The Scented Cottage for their wonderful products!
Congratulations to our Dog of the Month, Charley, whose owner is Carol of The Roseberry Cottage. Charley is a rescue dog who was found wandering the streets after Hurricane Charley swept through Florida a couple years ago (hence his name). Charley is a shepherd /chow mix. He's also quite the celebrity ~ he had his picture taken in (after their local pro hockey team won the Stanley Cup), and won the local "Whose Drool Rules" radio contest for cutest puppy and then had an article written about him in the local newspaper because he donated his $1,000 prize certificate to PAWS, the rescue group that found him. Besides being their pride and joy, he is our winner for Dog of The Month and our Canine Prize Patrol will soon be on it's way to your mailbox!

Janet~I'm making a promise to myself to stop by more often & see what's going on here! You are always so sweet to stop by my blog & post something sweet! I LOVE the LIP pillows for gabby's room! Have I told you 100 times? :)
