Everyday One By One Our Soldiers Carry On
They Carry On Their Scary Lifes,
In A Far And Distance Site,
Wondering When It Will Unfold,
And When It Does In Night,
Will It Be With Furry And Might,
Or Will It Be A Sweet Unsung Song,
Of Wondering What Is Going On.
Wondering If Tomorrow Will Be,
Like The Rest In This Sea of SandHot And Tiresome As Can Be,
As They Miss Births and Deaths,
Of Ones They Used to Hold By the Hand.
Still They Fight Bold and True,
Always Ready to Defend Our Red, White and Blue.
They Give Up Everything In A Second,
To Make Sure You Are Fed and Protected.
Yet You Sit At Home Today and Wonder,Why They Are Away.
You Say We Have No Business There,It’s Not Our Blood To Shed.
But When They Come Back From the Sand Sea,
Remember Why You Can Be, At Home, At Work, Or At The Park,
It’s These Soldiers That Did Their Part,
To Give You The Right To Be Free.
Please let us not forget the true meaning of what The Fourth Of July truly means. As we spend time with our friends and loved ones be grateful for all that you have and lets be grateful for our freedom and thank those who give their lives to protect us.
