Hippity Hop Easter is Coming~

I love this picture of Jesus

Happy Tuesday!

I hope everyone had a fun St. Patrick's Day. Don't you just love holidays? I sure do. The next holiday we can look forward to is Easter. Easter is the day when we celebrate Jesus rising from the dead. Jesus is the Son of God and heroically gave his life to die for our sins. Jesus rose from the dead on Easter Sunday.
Easter is also a fun time for children.

On Easter Sunday, many children wake up to find that the Easter Bunny has left them baskets of candy. He has also hidden the eggs that they decorated earlier that week. Children hunt for the eggs all around the house. Neighborhoods and organizations hold Easter egg hunts, and the child who finds the most eggs wins a prize.

The Easter Bunny is a rabbit-spirit. Long ago, he was called the "Easter Hare", hares and rabbits have frequent multiple births so they became a symbol of fertility. The custom of an Easter egg hunt began because children believed that hares laid eggs in the grass. The Romans believed that "All life comes from an egg." Christians consider eggs to be "the seed of life" and so they are symbolic of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Why we dye, or color, and decorate eggs is not certain. In ancient Egypt, Greece, Rome and Persia eggs were dyed for spring festivals. In medieval Europe, beautifully decorated eggs were given as gifts.

So in honor of the upcoming Easter holiday I have some cute products to share with you. They are listed in my shop for sale. I think they would make great little additions to Easter baskets. :)

Hi Janet, how are you? I practically skipped over St. Patrick's and I hope I don't do the same with Easter. I've been so busy planning my daughter's birthday. It's just us four and two of her friends but it seems like it takes me twice as long to do half of what I used to when she and her brother were children. :)

I absolutely love your gorgeous creations, you know I'm a fan. Those carrots are adorable. You are SO talented.

Thank you for visiting. Glad you liked the farmer's market and hope you can visit yours soon. It's such a treat.
Have a beautiful Sunday, friend.
