Last week, my sweet mom was about to throw away a vintage Christmas doll because it was in bad shape. I quickly yelled out "NO!", I knew that the moment I saw it that I could make her new again.
Here is a before pic of the doll:
As you can see this poor dolly needed a bath. Her hair needed to be washed and combed. Her outfit had a few little holes and her wings were falling apart. Poor thing. I tried my best to fix her up.
Here she is:
I made a whole new dress for her. It's difficult to appreciate the doll in a photo, but I can assure you that she looks so much better now. Her dress is made with faux red vintage velvet fabric. She has a pretty sash on her waist and her neck has pretty crocheted lace. Her hair was washed and now smells good. :)I also added faux pearls to the top of her head and her wings were made with white lace. My mother loved her new look and was so happy I saved her. I will treasure her forever.
Dashing through the snow, in a one-horse open sleigh, everywhere we go, ornaments all the way. Lol, sorry, best I can do for rhyming ;)
And speaking of ornaments here are a few that I have listed for sale.
Hope you like them, if you're interested in any of them, please visit my shop.
