The Meaning of Christmas~

What is the meaning of Christmas?

To me the meaning of Christmas is a time for many things. Like seeing family and wonderful friends, eating delicious food, exchanging gifts and just having a merry old time. It's sad when people turn into the Grinch and don't enjoy the most wonderful time of the year. I for one look forward to this time of the year like no other. There is something magical about Christmas. It could be the beautiful white snow or the lights that light up homes. I love doing random acts of kindness all year, but especially during the holidays because many are not able to receive gifts or can't afford to celebrate. Giving is such a wonderful feeling. I never expect anything in return. My reward is seeing a smile on someone's face. I think that Charlie Brown famously showed the world what Christmas is all about back in 1965. He didn't need a big tree to celebrate Christmas. He bought a simple little tree with 3 branches. It was decorated it with an ornament and Linus's blue blanket. An adorable little tree. If only people didn't worry so much about what they are going to receive and simply be grateful for what they have. But most of all remember if only everyone believed in our Lord Jesus. Christmas would be meaningless without him. After all he is the reason for the season. :)
